DO AS I SAY
Swedish jury selection
The performance is interactive and both the audience and dancers receive verbal instructions from a recorded voice, but who is actually in charge? Through abstract choreography and concrete stories, the audience is taken through an emotional and thought-provoking journey. How does group pressure affect us? Who is an authority? Why do we all do as he says? And what happens if we don’t or if we say no?

FANFICTION
Swedish jury selection
From her old letters, diaries and family albums, Johanna Karlsson creates a scenic fanzine. In the performance, she cuts apart memories and books in an attempt to create a new story; with a happy ending. Fanfiction is a monologue performance that examines fangirls and unconditional love. It is based on a 12-year-old girl's great love for Måns Zelmerlöw.

ITYARN - BOOKRELEASE
ITYARN Book Launch: Diversity, Representation and Culture in TYA

KOREOGRAFIN
The Choreography is based on audience participation. Everyone in the audience gets a pair of headphones through which they will hear a voice telling them how to move, how to relate to one’s body and how to relate to one another. In other words, there are no dancers in the performance, but it is instead the audience members who create The Choreography together.

LILLA SVANSJÖN
Claire Parsons' performance Lilla Svansjön was created in collaboration with Unga Dramaten in Stockholm. Instead of the graceful swans that the visitor expects, three figures appear on stage trying out flights, tackling a silver lake and finding the best steps for groups in groups. When it comes to who can take a seat and the expectations of how things should be done. It is a great classic in a new version that is about taking other steps than expected.

MISTATIM
International committee selection
An unforgettable story of reconciliation, Mistatim is about the taming of a wild horse and the truest of friendships. Under a prairie sky, a simple wooden fence is all that separates Calvin on his ranch and Speck on her reservation. In many ways they are worlds apart, that is, until a wild horse named Mistatim turns their worlds upside down. This timeless story is more relevant than ever before, bringing together two worlds that are seemingly far apart in an award-winning theatre production for young audiences

MOLN
Swedish jury selection
Moln is a circus performance imbued with music and inspired by the life and work of legendary Swedish poet Karin Boye. Its framework is the tale of a collection of individuals living at each other’s mercy in a sort of vacuum between childhood and adolescence. This performance is a “dream play” that with a light and poetic touch casts itself between the dark existential abyss and the bright, light clouds that coexist inside all of us, particularly on the brink between childhood and adulthood.

PLAYFUL TIGER
Playful Tiger is for children and young people with complex needs such as autism. It tells the story of a tiger’s visit to a rigid family home where he turns their world upside down. It’s chaotic but brilliantly fun, with a focus on sensory engagement. Playfulness within the work creates space for a two-way response between the audience and performers.

SNÖ
Swedish jury selection
The snow creaks and squeaks. The ice is cracking. The animals move across the landscape. Nature is self-evident, eternal and unadulterated. A source of energy and reflection. The Sami language has 200 words for snow: Melted snow, flying snow, sticky snow, hard snow, icy snow and more.

STRANDEN
The set design is adapted with custom-made seating for the audience, and newly composed music is performed live on stage by the actors. The show is built up in several layers to be able to communicate with children who are labelled as having complex needs including those with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

TIGERN I MAGEN
Tigern i magen is written by the comic book author Sara Hansson and is presented in collaboration with Banditsagor. With the help of a picturesque world of sound and a dollhouse-like scenography, we are moved into a chaotic reality where ordinary mashed potatoes become high scales and the sauce dangerous quicksand.

TIME LOOPS
Time Loops wants to find the extraordinary and remarkable in the everyday. Investigate community, location and time in relation to people, routines and landmarks in some residential areas in Skåne. Praise the power of creating something unique along with dance, movement, sound and music. The project is aimed at children, young people and adults.

VÅRA VIKTIGASTE VUXNA
Swedish jury selection
In the adult world, it is common to like and think about children, but the year when the children's convention became Swedish law, Angereds Teater became the perspective and let the children like the adults. What are adults really good for and what should you use them for? Våra viktigaste vuxna are based on in-depth interviews with children of different ages, conducted by Ylva Martens, award-winning journalist and author.
