FANFICTION
- Teaterambulansen och Johanna Karlsson
From her old letters, diaries and family albums, Johanna Karlsson creates a scenic fanzine. In the performance, she cuts apart memories and books in an attempt to create a new story; with a happy ending. Fanfiction is a monologue performance that examines fangirls and unconditional love. It is based on a 12-year-old girl's great love for Måns Zelmerlöw. But it is just as much a performance about a 25-year-oldwho mourns that something has ended.
Note! The performances will be given in Swedish on Friday 20th, and in English on Saturday 21st.

Motivation of the jury:
It's like being invited to the most private teenage room. A secret diary that is written at the moment, paper collages that are carefully chiseled out to be violently cut the next moment. With a projector, a lot of 90s nostalgia, humor and emotion but without sentimentality, a story and an art experience slowly grow. About the pounding longing for love and life, about obsession and about creating projections on others to find oneself.
