bibu is the festival that makes all of Helsingborg bubble with
THEATRE, DANCE, OPERA AND CIRCUS
PERFORMANCES FOR CHILDREN, YOUNG PEOPLE AND YOU!
During four days, 27 - 30 May 2026, a large number of performances created for children and young people will be shown around Helsingborg. During the bibu festival, you can enjoy some of the most exciting performances from Sweden and abroad. There will be theatre, dance, circus and musical theatre for children and young people aged 0-20.
The performances will be shown throughout Helsingborg; at Stadsteatern, Konserthuset, Dunkers, Tryckeriet, Nicolaiskolan, Arenan etc. so it's important to keep track of where your performance is shown.
The programme will be released in April 2026 and tickets will be sold via Helsingborg Stadsteater's website. Children and youth between 0-20 years have free entrance to all the performances.

About bibu
bibu is a festival that takes place in Helsingborg every second year. The festival shows selected performances for children and young people around the city. During the festival, a large number of professional performing arts organisations gather to take part in the selected performances and various seminars. The festival is also attended by international visitors. bibu is Sweden's most important meeting place with, for and about professional performing arts for a young audience.
bibu is organised in collaboration with Helsingborgs Stadsteater, Helsingborgs Konserthus and Dunkers Kulturhus, as well as other organizations in the city, with the support of Helsingborg Arena & Scen, Helsingborg's cultural administration, Region Skåne and the Swedish Arts Council.
