ÖFA: Monster is a performance that invites you inside, a show and an experience here monstrous emotions ravages, and where monsters makes room for dreams about alternative realities. Together with the 14-16 year old audience, we will dig deep in inner and outer monsters. ÖFA is collaborating with the local youth center "Bagishuset” in Stockholm where we work together with experts of teenagers ideas on monsters: the teenagers.
After celebrating their 10th anniversary with a great 2014, filled with successes as ÖFA: What happens in Uppsala Stays in Uppsala, ÖFA: DANCEOKE and ÖFA: DECADE DECADENCE DANCE PARTY, the ÖFA:collective premiered on Monster, March 20, 2015 at ZebraDans.
From 13 years
When emotions take over, one might not dare to display them openly. Despite this, or perhaps just because of it, they assume unprecedented proportions inside, like an unruly beast somehow. In ÖFA: Monster on the other hand, the giants who’s pounding in there, gets to show off in the open. It’s about embracing your inner monster and ÖFA does so in fast tosses between joy, sorrow, self-hatred and passion. The performance is a mischievous and fresh mix of dance, song and dialogues. Is it just me who feels this way? No, ÖFA's monster is everyone's monster.
