"Dear diary! I think Emma is angry with me. She’s best friends with Gretchen. We never fought before Gretchen came along but now we do even though Emma’s the one starting all the fights and who doesn’t wanna be best friends anymore because she’s got Gretchen to turn to since Gretchen rather be with Emma, I don’t really have anyone to be with when we fight since I only hang out with Emma and Gretchen or all alone. But they don’t usually let me join them.", Malin, 11 years old (1998-11-06)

Hemligt (The Secret) aims to, together with the audience, approach the most private - the diary - and examine our innermost feelings and thoughts. The performance also deals with how secrets effect a group and it’s social structures.

In multimedial form, an excerpt from everyday life is transformed into striking drama – at the heart of the classroom.
