VOICES IN THE NORDICS: AN ARTISTIC LANGUAGE FOR JUSTICE & INCLUSION

Please join us for a seminar and discussion inspired by the experiences and curated conversations emerging from the project Voices in the Nordics: An Artistic Language for Justice & Inclusion.

From 2024–2026, In Futurum in Denmark has been leading the project in close collaboration with Nuuk Arts Museum in Greenland and Utsi/Danbolt in Norway/Denmark, and bibu in Sweden to explore the transformative power of art and culture to examine, challenge, and reshape how diversity and inclusion are understood within a Nordic context. Bringing together artists, researchers, and cultural leaders from Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Greenland to digital and physical gatherings , the project investigates how artistic practices can foster deeper insight and create new ways of expressing the complexity and plurality that shape Nordic societies.

During this discussion, we will share key reflections from the process and invite you to take part in the ongoing conversation.

This project is part of bibus long term commitment in creating sustainable strategies and structures that will develop the performing arts sector for children and young people to be more relevant, inclusive and democratic in terms of who is making the work and who’s perspective is being presented.
