Rotviska – creating an accessible performing arts experience

Andrew Stanford from Replay Theater Company and Eva von Hofsten from Scen:se at Folkteatern Gävleborg talk about the artistic process with Rotviska, which is an accessible and specially tailored show for children and young people with complex disabilities. How can accessibility be integrated from the start and artistic idea so that the audience is put at the center from the very beginning? How are children and young people included in the process and how does it affect the artistic form? With examples from the work with Rotviska, they talk about how the different phases in the process are interwoven into a composition where high artistic ambitions and frameworks around accessibility can open up new opportunities for the performing arts.
