Pim & Theo

It’s a bloody mess in the streets and a moral mess in our heads…  Two men were shot in cold blood on the streets of Holland. Victims of extremism, Theo Van Gogh and Pim Fortuyn weren’t afraid to make their opposing political views known.

The lives and deaths of these two figures frame a debate that lies at heart of the European experience at the start of the 21st Century; are we one culture or many cultures or multi-cultures?  As we try to work that out, what are the limits of tolerance and what should they be? Pim and Theo explores issues around multiculturalism, democratic concepts of tolerance and freedom of speech.
