The Fence is an international network of playwrights and dramaturges with 275 members from 51 countries. The Center for Dramatic Writing works to widen the fields in which playwrights and scriptwriters work.
Mapping Opportunities for Playwrights in Europe is a seminar in which invited playwrights from Germany, the Netherlands, and Finland map production possibilities and structures in their own countries. We will spotlight theatres, agencies, festivals, and individuals who could open doors for writers of plays for children and youth. This seminar targets playwrights seeking production outside Sweden and will be held in English. The information gathered will eventually be published online in what we hope will be a digital sourcebook, an online tool for dramatists with international ambitions.
