Through well tuned use of techniques from various street dance genres, Hold turns around concepts and preconceived notions about the male dancer, his body, movements and gaze. In a meeting wich in equal parts is about searching as sensuality, we, the audience, are allowed to stop and reflect on issues in dealing with the strict standards of masculinity; battles, distancing and neglected needs of intimacy.
Hold turns around concepts and preconceived notions about the male dancer, his body, movements and gaze. The dancers Anton Borgström and Robin Sundberg are exploring the body's emotions together with director and choreographer Erik Linghede.
"HOLD" by Erik Linghede will not be performed during bibu 2016. The company has other commitments.
