From a workshop with students from Ringstorpsskolan, Helsingborg.
During this spring Bibu has in collaboration with Månteatern and their actors workshopped with 75 students from the 5th and 7th grade. The theme for the workshops has been “what is good and poor theatre”.
The aim for the project has been to inspire the young audience in creative work and also to give them tools for how performing arts and arts in general can be both reflecting and enrichment. Besides from workshops the students have also seen two different performances.
The project ended with a seminar where the students showed some of their work, followed by a panel talk around some questions; How can performing arts change someones life? Does arts have to be educational or have a message? Must the students learn something? Participity as an audience – is that important and how far can students' participation go?
