bibu.se is the national Swedish performing arts biennial for children and youth. This is the place to be inspired by the wide range and quality of Swedish performing arts for children and youth.

With an impressive selection of shows, seminars, workshops, forums and other happenings, bibu.se creates a new venue for inspiration and innovation. Swedish performing arts for children are making its way as a front figure on the international stages and bibu.se wants to be the oasis were national and international guests can take part in and learn more about the development and organization of new, exciting and wonderful performing arts.
Between Wednesday May 5:th and Saturday May 8:th 2010 bibu.se is held for the third time. Once again people, whom are interested in performing arts for a younger audience, can gather from all over the world to discuss, exchange and absorb information and new ideas. bibu.se is a place where new encounters and collaborations are possible.
And after the festival it is up to You to continue the good work and make it possible for our children and youth to experience great performing arts. Develop, manage and organize the performing arts; in everyday life, in contact with the audience, in Kiruna, Gothenburg, Vienna or Hong Kong, at school, in rehearsal studios or in the imagination…

Four days of performing arts for children and youth

During four rewarding days in May, the edge of Swedish performances for a younger audience is presented. Dance, dramatic theatre, mime, musical theatre, performance art, puppet theatre etc. In addition to the Swedish performances, the programme also includes international guest performances and at bibu.se 2010 we have a special focus on performing arts from the Nordic countries.
